GUESS WHAT!?...DECEMBER 10 2011.....................
That is the question of the day. But do I have an answer? I'm not sure.
I did survive the ZAPPlication process yesterday. Application plus pictures accepted and forwarded to Boston Mills for their jury process. Now another waiting game begins. Jury results will be released in mid-March. They have several hundred applications submitted each year, and can only accommodate x number of vendors. So I will wait. And wait.
Had a phone call from my publisher this morning. My new book is in the process of being printed and, hopefully, will be shipped and here by Friday. (Friday is MY deadline, as I want to take the books that were ordered by my Church family with me Sunday December 18th for them to have them for Christmas). You can tell I was never an English teacher!
I will probably start baking cookies today. I have 8 people on my list to give cookies to. I only have 14 days left.
Also today is the last day of regular deer season. the guys are definitely winding down. They were back before dark yesterday. Jerry never went out today until after 8 a.m. I think they are getting tired. However there are a lot of families out there that like deer meat, and will have plenty to stock their freezers with. I am not one of them!
A friend sent me, yesterday, an e-mail with a collage of my blog pictures attached. What a neat and thoughtful thing. Never ceases to amaze me the things you can do today.
I wonder which festival the next application will be for. The April invitational held at the South Hills Country Club each April is not being held this year, so will have nothing scheduled until May. But that is probably for the best. I know for sure I will be going to Arizona sometime in late April or early May. Am looking into some other things to do. And of course the gardening, mowing, flowers, etc., will be waiting.
If I am going to bake, had better get myself pulled together and get started. Have a great day (all days are great) and God Bless.
