GETTING READY ...... OCTOBER 07 2011 .......................
Oglebayfest opens today. I spent all afternoon yesterday at the park, getting my display set up and ready for business today. Just have a few last minute clean-ups to do, and, hopefully, I will be ready.
Weather forecast is for picture-perfect weekend. If that holds true, the park will be so crowded you will have to fight your way through the crowds just to get to the rest-room. Forget food. The lines will be long, long, longer. We usually take our own.
Touched base with several friends I haven's seen since last year's Oglebayfest. Had a lot to talk about.
When I got home last night, Jerry had mowed the front yard. He wanted to show me something. And it had to be Sam's fault. A section of the yard was all dug up, a big section. It was caused by the deer. They picked a section of the yard and did their number, pawing, pulling up the grass, just making a real mess. Holes everywhere.
Why do I say it is Sam's fault? Obviously the deer have seen her digging for buried treasure, and decided it looked like fun, let's see what we can find.
The soap opera never ends. Am cutting this short today, as I need to be rollin'. Can't help but wonder what I will find when I come home tonight.
Have a great Friday and God Bless.
