SUNSHINE and SNOW...JANUARY 03 2012..
That is correct. We actually have sunshine, at least right now. Also have snow on the ground. Also only 19 degrees outside. That is brrrrrrr cold!
Well, I can say now that Christmas is officially over. Put the tree and all the trimmings away yesterday. Looks pretty bare. The holidays come and go so fast it makes your head spin.
I will be going to Kearneyville WV in a couple of weeks then Jerry will be leaving for Phoenix to visit his sister the end of the month. Sometime in between he may have to go to Minnesota (in the winter!!! really cold) for business. He is not looking forward to that.
Everyone seems to be settling in for the long haul now until spring. High school kids are back at school. One college kid starts back this month, the other one not until the end of the month. But he keeps busy, is working at one of our local Targets.
Looking into a couple of bus trip possibilities in March and/or April. Don't know whether they will pan out or not, also will be going to Phoenix in late April/early May to visit the kids. Then beginning in mid-May the festival season kicks off for real.
In-between I have a bejillion things to accomplish, my to-do list just gets longer. Interferes greatly with my bucket-list. Just not enough time.
Have to call the vet tomorrow and make appointment to take Sam in and have her staples removed. She still looks really bald, but is healing nicely. She is a tough little dog.
Whoops - as I have been writing this blog, the sun has disappeared, and nothing but gray clouds. Starting out to be a long gloomy winter.
These are a couple of pictures from the Cass Railroad weekend last summer. That is a fun trip.
Guess I had better close for now and get started on the do-do list, got to make some time for my bucket list. Have a good day, try to stay warm and God Bless.
