That is the question of the day. What am I going to write about? What are my projects for the day? What is the weather going to end up being? What pot of gold will I find at the end of the rainbow? What stupid phone calls am I going to get today? I guess I could go on and on, but won't.
I have finished editing the pictures taken by my class. Makes you wonder. I think Monday will be a very interesting day when they arrive and I start. Maybe they will fire me. Sorry, no refunds.
I have one whose pictures are very well done, thought out, just did a great job. I have one who has a great eye, the pictures started out great, but as the day progressed, something happened. they became un-focused, as if she either lost interest or her camera began misbehaving.
That leaves three - and they do need some work. Perhaps I will arrange a one day photo shoot of my own and ask them if they want to tag along. I don't know.
I do know that I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, and am afraid I will. How do you gracefully state - "your pictures are terrible"?
That is why I don't do too many classes. I hate to disappoint anyone, but I can't tell them their pictures are great, when you can't even figure out for sure what it was they were aiming for.
Maybe in the next three days I will have a brain-storm (or a brain-freeze), whatever, and figure out how I am going to handle Monday's class. If I don't do any more blogging after Monday, you will know that things didn't go well.
