 A little bit of this, and a little bit of that.  Kids arrived about 12:45 a.m. this morning, was a short night.  Today is get-ready-for-tomorrow day.  We are having our Labor Day cookout tomorrow, as everyone will be too busy on Labor Day with the West Alexander World's Fair to come to a cookout.  So, this is prep day.

We are also int he process of changing our phone system.  Our land line is the pits out here.  Half the time the phone doesn't work, half the time there is so much static you can't hold a conversation, half the time you can't get a repairman for days.  Does that make 3 half times.  New Math.

We are going Verizon wireless.  I got a loaner kit yesterday to try it out and see how it works.  Am going to return the loaner kit today, and get my real stuff.  I think it will work great.  And my phone bill per month is going to go way..........down.   Way way down.

Lauri is going with me this morning, then it will be food prep for tomorrow.  Son Michael wants son Andy to help him on his house today.  He is building a house for him and Tammy.  Right now they live in a trailer on the property.  Will be a good day to work out, only in the 90's, 99% humidity, no air moving.  I am sure they will have a great time!!!!!

At least Lauri and I will be in an air-conditioned house.  Even cooking it will be cool.

So had better get out of my rocking chair, sign off her, get ready for a busy weekend, try to stay cool,  hope we don't get rained out tomorrow, all that stuff.  So have a great and safe holiday weekend and God Bless.
