Yep. That's right. Especially for the kids home from Arizona. They have been home a week yesterday. In that week we have had sunshine, clouds, rain, cool weather, hot weather, lots of leaves of vibrant colors on the trees, fading leaves, wind, falling leaves, bare trees. What have I missed?
Oh yes, snow. We have not had snow. Yet. But...
The weather report today from Pittsburgh:
A hurricane forming off Jamaica, heading toward Cuba and the eastern seaboard. Very cold weather heading east toward us from the mid-west, to arrive Saturday. The hurricane should also hit east of us Saturday It is warm. The cold front is cold - isn't that strange?
Anyhow the forecast, as of this a.m., is that we will have snow over the weekend as the cold weather and warm weather meet each other, over western Pennsylvania, parts of Ohio, New York, etc. etc. etc. Is there anything left for them to contend with before they leave next Tuesday?
If they leave next Tuesday. Today it is raining in Pittsburgh, sun is shining on Bushko Lane, landscapers working on our sidewalks. Go figure.
Trying to get pictures finished for the second week end at the fairgrounds coming up. Shortly I will be able to share pics of the new kitchen - I think bossman is relenting. He just wants to brag but doesn't want anyone to know he is bragging, so .......We will see what happens.
Just about time the festivals end for this year the holidays will be here. Shopping, baking, cleaning, baking, decorating, baking, wrapping, baking. Enjoy this brief little bit of 'down time' and start regrouping for the busy time, as if this entire year has not been busy time.
