LAST ONE....

...COMING UP ... OCTOBER 29  2012 ....

Second weekend of the fairgrounds festival is now history.  Not as good as the first weekend, but o.k.  Weather and weather forecast definitely a factor.  One more to go in Morgantown West Virginia.  Then the long dreary haul until spring.

Went to the grocery store today to make sure we have all the necessities.  Storm predictions pretty dire, three major storm fronts are going to collide on the east coast.  Emergency status has been declared in our state, and as far west as Ohio and Indiana.  Sounds like a real doozy.

We are expecting up to 60 mph winds starting tonight and lasting well into tomorrow.  Maybe my ghost will blow away.  Going to try to wind-proof my deck (like bring in the cushions from the wicker furniture) the rest will have to take care of itself.

Kids are supposed to fly out of Pittsburgh Wednesday morning for home in Phoenix.  We are all wondering if they will actually get to leave.  It has been a very strange visit for them, they have experienced every kind of weather except a snow-storm, and that is even a possibility.  The tales they will have to tell......

Everyone stay safe, don't go out unless you really have to and hope we don't get hammered.  Have lots of snacks, mucho blankets, batteries, and, of course, flashlights to put the batteries in.  Otherwise what good are batteries??????

One good thing.  Met a new friend at the fairgrounds from Alden New York.  One of those instant meshing scenarios, we talked, and laughed, and she met the rest of my wacky group.  I guess we didn't scare her off as she brought me info on some really good shows in her area, and even an invitation to stay with her if push came to shove.  Am going to research some of these festivals and see what happens.  A chance meeting, a whole new area possibly coming in to play.  Just goes to show, we really don't know what is around the next corner, or the spot next to you.  No wonder I love what I do.

Stay safe, keep dry and warm, enjoy your snacks and God Bless.
